New ACD-E team members
We’re excited to introduce two of our newest team members to join The Australian Cultural Data Engine.
Zhixin (Ivy) Zheng has recently commenced as our Cultural Data Programmer. Ivy is an early career analytic engineer with interests in digital humanities and open data utilisation. She has a background in information management, library science and data science. In 2020, she worked in the repliCATS project as a qualitative data analyst, providing reliable data modelling and data transformation for the reasoning team.
We also welcome Rui Liu. Rui is a PhD student of the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne. Her research interests include digital humanities, linked data, ontology and qualitative research. Rui has been constructing the ontology and linked data set for The Hundred Schools of Thought in ancient China in her past research. Her PhD research is primarily about exploring the difficulties of aggregating different digital humanities collections, and developing an aggregation framework to guide future digital humanities practitioners and collection developers to enable easier integration.
