International Federation for Theatre Research

Tomorrow is the final day of the International Federation for Theatre Research Conference (in Reykjavík, Iceland, 20 June to 24 June 2022). This year’s conference hosted themes and panels including ‘Rewriting, Returning, Renewing’, ‘Choreography & Corporeality’, ‘Psycho-Emotional Receptions’, ‘Performance and Disability’ and ‘Race, Post-Imperialism, Protest.’

The conference included an excellent panel on Digital Humanities with papers by Anna Lawaetz and Nora Probst on ‘ethical and dramaturgical reflections upon VR technologies in performing arts’ and ‘VR/AR in DH.’
